• Players can create custom miniatures on Hero Forge or Eldritch Foundry and print them on a 3d printer. They also work on Tabletop Simulator.
  • Talespire is a digital game that replaces physical minis and game mats. Customizable to any pen-n-paper game.

Differences from D&D 5e:

1. Characters
   • Every choice of character creation impacts not only role-play but ability scores as well - class, background, ancestry, etc. This makes it possible to always start with an 18 in your main stat, or you can choose to diversify.
   • Every class gets their sub-class and picks a feat at level 1.
   • Feats are not optional and awarded at every new level. There are four types of feats: ancestry, skill, general, and class.
   • Enemies can hit twice as often as their D&D counterparts, so good tanks are needed to avoid crits on the weaker party members.
2. Monsters
   • Every monster has at least 1 special ability and 1 major flaw/weakness.
   • Challenge ratings are based on player level.
3. Combat
   • Multiple attack penalty - every attack after the first is less accurate. Skills and feats can reduce or remove the penalty.
   • All skill actions are available to everybody; bonuses are given to those with trained proficiency in a skill.
   • Conditions do not give advantage/disadvantage and instead do something unique, such as reduceing ability scores (Ex: clumsy) or halting all movement (Ex: petrify / sleep).
   • There are three types of bonus: circumstance (situation based), status (spells / condition), and item. A character can only have 1 of each active - the same types do not stack and most are +1 or +2. This makes teamwork extra important; example: casting Heroism (+2 attack) on a fighter who can't give it to themselves, Frightened (AC -2) on enemy to weaken them, flanking with a rouge to get Flat-Footed (AC -2 to enemy).
